The Church of the Nazarene in Australia runs many ongoing ministries. Some such as NazCare operate on a national level, others at a district level, and many more on a per-church basis.
Nazarene Theological College (NTC)
The Nazarene Theological College (NTC) is located in the Brisbane suburb of Thornlands, and has been preparing people for Christian service for over fifty years. Their mission is to serve the churches and their people as they prepare for ministries in our rapidly changing world.
A recent venture started by NTC is the New Horizons School of English, which provides a comprehensive TESOL and English language program emphasizing academic quality, and embracing cultural diversity while upholding Christian values.
Sunday School and Discipleship Ministries International (SDMI)
While this does include traditional Sunday School classes for children, it is by no means limited to this. We value discipleship of and Biblical teaching to people of all ages, from preschool to elderly.
The mission of SDMI is to carry out the Great Commission to children, youth, and adults in preparation for a lifetime of Christian holiness.
Nazarene Youth International (NYI)
Nazarene Youth International (NYI), is the youth ministry of the Church of the Nazarene. We exist because the Church of the Nazarene believes that young people are an integral part of the Church. Because of that belief NYI is committed to leading young people into a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ and to facilitate their growth as disciples for Christian service.
Nazarene Missions International (NMI)
The purpose of NMI is to mobilize the church in mission through praying, discipling, giving, and educating. It aims to encourage people to pray for all efforts of world evangelization, to inform people of the world's needs and what the church is doing to meet those needs, to challenge children and youth to learn about and participate in the mission of the church, and to raise funds for mission outreach.
